I love all things fashion. I have endless Pinterest pins all about fashion and styles BUT here’s the thing, I work with 3 to 5-year-olds and I’m surrounded by sand, paint, playdough, and things that projectile out of little people’s bodies. Sigh.
Because of this, I have amassed a nice collection of clothes. Lovely clothes that I promise myself that YES I will wear to work but I don’t. I should but I don’t, isn’t that silly? Well it is and it isn’t because the very few times I have decided to take the plunge and wear a nice item Bam! it has been vomited on or painted on or I’ve sat on a nice playdough patty then proceeded to go to the shops wearing this.
But why am I collecting these clothes? What if something happens to me. Who am I leaving them to? My husband’s new wife? I don’t think so. She might have different tastes. Ha!
So I’m going to be brave and stop wearing the same thing on repeat. Black jeans, grey top. Maroon (I don’t even like maroon but they were cheap) jeans, black top. I’m going to try and jazz it up and wear something that I actually like, not something I wear because I don’t like it and I don’t care if it’s puked on.
I’ve tried on the following things and I’m going to put them on my work clothes pile and ditch the cinderella rags. Looking at them they’re not even my super nice clothes, just casual stuff I love. Now I’ve challenged myself on here, I have to follow through right? Here goes. I’ll let you know how I go.
Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
